Overview - Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (IATA: DFW; ICAO: KDFW) serves the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth.


Service to Dallas and Fort Worth are provided through DFW Airport Terminal A and DFW Airport Terminal B Stations, locates on-site, as well as CentrePort/DFW Airport Station, located off-site. Within the airport, there are also additional internal services.

DFW Airport Terminal A Station is located on-site at Terminal A. It was opened on August 18, 2014.


DFW Airport Terminal A Station is on the DART Orange Line. The following services serve this station:

  • Light Rail - DART Orange Line - Service to LBJ/Central and Parker Road. As of December 2025, 3 trains operate per hour towards LBJ/Central on weekdays off peak.

DFW Airport Terminal B Station is located on-site at Terminal B. It was opened on January 10, 2019, with Silver Line service beginning on October 25, 2025.


DFW Airport Terminal B Station is on the DART Silver Line and Trinity Metro TEXRail. The following services serve this station:

  • Regional Rail - DART Silver Line - Service to Shiloh Road. As of December 2025, 2 trains operate per hour towards Shiloh Road on weekdays off peak.
  • Regional Rail - TEXRail - Service to Fort Worth T&P. As of December 2025, 2 trains operate per hour towards Fort Worth T&P on weekdays off peak.

CentrePort/DFW Airport Station is located off-site south of the airport. It was opened on September 16, 2000.


CentrePort/DFW Airport Station is on the Trinity Railway Express. The following services serve this station:

  • Commuter Rail - Trinity Railway Express - Service to Fort Worth T&P Station and Dallas Union Station. As of December 2025, 2 trains operate per hour in each direction on weekdays off peak.

Connector Services

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport has no connector service.

Vought Airtrans

The Vought Airtrans was a 24.12 km (single track) AGT people mover network that connected various stations within the airport using different service patterns. This service began on January 13, 1974 with 14 passenger stations (each with a corresponding employee station; 3 at each of the 5 terminals, 2 for the North and South parking areas, and one at the hotel) and 25 utility stations, with the last extension to Terminal B (2W), and ended on May 20, 2005. At time of closing, there were five services - Red, Green, Yellow, American Airlines TrAAin (operated as an airside Internal service), and the Airport Employee Train.


The service used custom Airtrans rolling stock, run in two to three car consists with one door on one side of each car. Each car is 6.4m long and 2.1m wide. The system was entirely at-grade or elevated, and was entirely grade separated.


Internal Services

The Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Skylink connects the airport's five terminals.

Terminal A

Skylink is a 7.74 km AGT People Mover (Innovia APM 200) service that connects all airport terminals in a loop with two stations at each of the five terminals. This service began on May 21, 2005.


The service uses Bombardier Innovia APM 200 rolling stock, run in two car consists with two doors on each side per car. The system is fully elevated and entirely grade separated.


The service is owned by the DFW Airport Board and operated by Alstom. Line color from the icon on Wikipedia as of December 30, 2025.
